Many parents carry a level of emotional pressure that is rarely seen from the outside. Life can feel like a constant balancing act, with responsibilities pulling in every direction and very little space to rest, reflect, or feel supported. Over time, this kind of stress can affect not only our own wellbeing, but also the emotional atmosphere our children live in. Before we can fully understand our children’s needs, it is often helpful to recognise what is happening inside ourselves first.
